Rear Storage
Did some wood working today. Built a rear platform out of 3/4 inch plywood. My main goal was to have a more solid mounting for the ARB Fridge. When mocking up what I wanted, I became painfully aware that with the MPAC Rack mounted on the rear door, the fridge will not fit if installed front/back vs sideways. I removed the handles front & back and still don't know if it will fit. I removed the rack and with or without the handles, the fridge fit fine. The question is can I do without the rack on the rear door? I always thought that the extra weight on the rear door made it a bit heavier and more stress on the latching mechanism (though when I removed all the weight, the latch was still kinda off kilter, go figure!). I ordered the slide-lok today, and will await it's arriveal before I do anything else. Ultimately I want to install the fridge with a drawer next to it, and possibly a modular drawer to install in place of the fridge when it's not needed.
