Dilema

OK, so for now I want to keep my current height, thus will not be keeping the current 2" lift adjustment on the ICON COs. This will mean less preload on the springs, being adjustables I can change them when I want. My ultimate plan is to get Expedition One Rear bumpers when they become available (been in development for > 1 yr). Then perhaps change out the rear suspension to accommodate the rear bumper weight and lift it a bit, then adjust the front ICONs. But for now I want to keep the current height up front especially if I want to add a winch and/or skids.

If I don't lift the front any I really don't need to add the UCAs, but people have stated you have more alignment adjustability and better tracking.

Here's my thinking process. When I installed the ARB front bumper, I swapped out the OEM springs with OME 883 springs and didn't get an alignment at all. after about 10k miles, the tires have worn without irregularities, so perhaps I can install the ICONs at the same height and forgo the alignment for now. Then when I find a good recommendation for alignment stores and or require more lift I can install the UCAs then get an alignment.

So for the interm plan, I will install my ICONs adjusted for the current height and enjoy for now. Put away the UCA's for now until I can locate a ball separator and install at a later date.
