I've been meaning to finally hook up my roof rack lights. The only problem is how am I to do this? I didn't want to drill through the roof, and the a-pillar mod that Gobi recommends just doesn't seem sound enough. Luckily as usual someone on the forums came up with a solution. Just run all the wiring through the back! In anticipation of this, I ordered a ton of stuff from DelCity.com, but in addition to the extra wire, I also had a beef with not knowing when my fog lights were on or off, so I also purchased some LED indicator lights to go below the driver's air vent.I installed a total of 6 LED's
1- Front Fog
2- Rear Fog
3- Inside Driving Lights
4- Outside Driving Lights
5- Rear Camera
6- Red Alarm light
I only hooked up the alarm and Front fogs for now and they seem to work wonderfully! and a quick glance tells me what's functioning! Hopefully next week I will have a chance to hook everything else up. The only current dilemma is whether to purchase OEM Fog switches or mount a control panel in the Upper glove box!
