So a 4x4 club sponsored an event at Hungry Valley, whereby you take a trail and throughout the trail there are Holloween themed skits, but because of the strong Santa Ana winds, a majority of the skits were blown down. The scheduled runs were also disorganized and we waited about 2 hours before we set off! Once we did, it was quite fun for me, but the family was well traumatized!
There were several trails that we took that looked familiar to me, and it just so happened to be trails I took with the Toyota Trail Team last April when the FJ debuted! It was more relaxing then since we were driving THEIR cars, not ours! This time I took my FJ Cruiser and MY family for this outing! As a noobie, it was quite scary on some stretches, luckily or unluckily I was the first car behind the trail leader. Phil the trail leader in a modified Toyota Pickup provided me the necessary encouragement and guidance over the CB as I attacked each obstacle!! Look at the inclinometer on the dashboard! the picture can be quite deceiving on the actual grade of the hill!

The next morning I awaken to observe the myriad of pinstripes that were applied by the chapparell during our 1st family 4x4 event!
