Windshield Repair

Logged into my Geico account to arrange to have my windshield repair, and ehy had an opening at Safelite in Pasadena for 12 noon and it was currently 11:30am! wow. I rushed over there, and the same guy that fixed my first rack several years ago was there. He was in the process of replacing a windshield off of a Hyndai Elantra, and he proceeded to repair my crack in between. Similar to the first crack, he first used a tool to scratch out a center hole, then cleaned it up. Under suction he injected a clear epoxy which was then cured with UV light. The crack now looked like a blemish and his comment was "That's a small crack" at the getgo and after fixing he said "Came out nice, you can't even see it now". I just didn't want to deal with the crack spreading and getting larger, and when the light hit it just so it annoyed the hell out of me! Now it looks great, almost unidentifiable! Just hope the next crack is on the passenger side and small!
