The FJ at night is bit like a cave, with a very dim dome light. Many on the FJ Forums have done mods to rectify this situation, but one guy in particular had an excellent idea. Why not integrate the Scanguage II into a map light! I went a bit further and also purchased a console that had an integrated homelink transmitter also! Using the sunglass holder part of the console and cutting out a hole to accommodate the scanguage, you get a three in one gadget!
One problem I ran into was on my initial purchase. Got a tan one on ebay when I should have gotten a grey one to match the interior. Oh well! just spray painted it a military grey and wala I'm ready for installation!
