So when I placed my deposit for an FJ the guy said late April. I was number 82 and they were allotted 52 cars in their first allotment. I was kinda bummed since I wanted be one of the first and I couldn’t wait any longer than I had to. Rumor had it that the intro date was going to be March 27th, 2006, but it got moved up to March 23rd, 2006. I called that week and was told my car would be here anywhere from late March to 1st week or April. Some people were getting their cars and I just had to wait.
Saturday morning I was at work and was surprised to get a call From Alan stating that my car had arrived and was ready for pick up. It was 8:30am and I couldn’t just get up and leave. The next couple of hours was painful. All I could think about was my new Titanium FJ Cruiser 4x4. I finally got out and drove home to find out Shirley and the kids were out and unavailable to drive me. Glenna was also unavailable. Luckily, my dear and bestest friend Raj was around and he came with me to pick up the car.
