The FJ comes with only one 12V Outlet. This was not enough for me! GPS, Cell phone, radar detector, coffee warmer, computer, there are a plethora of stuff that needs power, so with the guidance of others on fjforums.com, I purchased a 12V outlet from Radio Shack for $7.49 and went at it. As with everything else, I downloaded instructions on how to take apart the center console and proceeded. The FJ is like an erector set, and some unscrewing and gentle tugging, everything came apart nicely. I removed the center console, and center instrument panel to access the original 12V outlet. I drilled the appropriate hole and hooked everything up, and wala it worked! Now I got an extra outlet that looks damm OEM
