Purchased Polk DB680’s quite awhile ago, but it has been in storage since I didn’t have the time to fabricate a speaker mount. I was considering making a mount out of MDF, but with the possibility of getting wet I needed to come up with an alternative. A company out of Texas (Tacotunes) manufactures a mount made of plastic. I took apart the door which only took the removal of two screws and some force. Installed the mount then screwed the speaker into place. Installed the speaker harnesses from Crutchfield’s and wala complete!!
